The Zunyi Conference was a meeting of the Communist Party of China in January 1935 where Mao Zedong become the leader of the Communist Party. Film tells a story about Red Army soldiers who organized multiple lines of defense around Zunyi to block the Kuomintang Central Army from capturing Xiangjiang River and Zunyi.The Red Army's First Red Division and the Red Second Regiment were ordered to station at the Yangjiao front line in Qijiang to guard the Sichuan warlord troops, and killed the pioneer troops of the Sichuan Army
